Diagnosing Psoriasis
Psoriasis is usually diagnosed by your doctor or dermatologist (skin doctor) by looking at the part of your skin that is affected. Make sure you tell your doctor all areas that are affected by your psoriasis so that they can tell how severe your psoriasis is.
It may help to tell them when you noticed changes to your skin and if there were any triggers that may have set off your psoriasis.
